Raclette Nachos

  • 1 min read

A fun way to use raclette beyond the traditional potato! This twist on nachos swaps in silky, flavour-packed raclette for a richer, more indulgent melt. It’s the kind of dish that feels both comforting and special. Once you try it, regular nachos may never feel the same again.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

  • ½ lb (225 g) ground beef

  • 1–1½ tsp Montreal steak spice

  • 8–10 oz (225–280 g) raclette cheese, sliced

  • 1 large bag tortilla chips

How to Cook:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil and cook onion and mushrooms until soft and lightly golden.

  • Add ground beef and seasoning; cook until browned and cooked through.

  • Arrange tortilla chips on a baking sheet and layer with beef mixture and sliced raclette.

  • Place under the broiler until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and lightly browned.

  • Serve immediately, finished with herbs or a dollop of sour cream if desired.

Cheese Tip:

Raclette melts beautifully and works anywhere you’d normally use mozzarella – but with more flavour.
